Meet Travis – a passionate music educator from Southern California!
Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced musician, Travis offers personalized lessons tailored to your goals. With years of professional experience across guitar, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and more, Travis will guide every step of your musical journey.
Travis’s music experience began in the fifth grade with alto sax, and kept playing alto until the end of 8th grade. During his highschool years, he was playing the instruments the band needed most, tenor sax, French horn/mellophone, and bass clarinet. Meanwhile, Travis had been taking guitar lessons since the sixth grade, netting him 16+ years of experience playing guitar!
Additionally Travis can teach many other unique instruments not typically found in a band room, such as Sitar, Banjo, Mandolin, and Didgeridoo just to name a few. If you’re wondering if he can teach it, it doesn’t hurt to ask!
Travis is a firm believer in the 10,000 hours rule, that anyone doing anything for 10,000 hours puts them in the master rank. How quickly can you play/practice 10,000 on your instrument? Travis will help you get started and plug away at become a master!
